looking to mount a clearview windshield on my 2008 dyna superglide,does anyone know if the horizontal and vertical braces on the harley windshields are the same. on most of there windshields they look the same, as long as your looking at the standard shield and nothing fancy.has anyone mixed or match braces that fit ? any insite would be helpful,to buy new braces and tape costs around 200.00 with out the clamps.already have the windshield and the clamps.and just need the braces hate to spend that much for just the braces

 

Yes. I was told by Clearview that the original HD mounts are to be used. If you need braces why not see whether your HD dealership have extras from used bikes. If not, ask them for the part number and look on eBay or call around HD shops to see whether they have used ones they would like to sell.
