Way to go bro looks good!!! How did you do it disassemble??? or did you just mask everything off? Heres my primary cover i did but after seeing yours i might do more.
Check the above pics... just pulled off the a/c, plug wires, and horn. Burned through an entire roll of 1" painters tape, and 9'x12' sheet of plastic.
I was really thrilled with the plasti-dip spray on the a/c and fork lowers. It made the two tone easy, and I don't have to ruin the chrome.
I agree that the horn should be chrome. Overall I think it's ****
Yeah, I went out and peeled the plasti-dip off the horn, and its much better. I would've had everything done in about 4 hours (instead of 6) but I had to push 2 atv's and a riding mower out it the shop, and cleaned the sh*t outta the floor, AND had to replace a circuit breaker before I started. Couldn't work on the bike without a radio!
Man I have the same bike and I want a black k motor but I want the edges of the heat fins
To stay shiney. How did you get a even coating / coatings with it all
Still assembled

I just took my time taping, and that BBQ flat black is very forgiving. I sprayed the hard-to-reach areas first, then I did the open flat surfaces. Kept the can moving. It's my first paint job on anything... I think the tins are next!
