That's what I went with, and I love it. After you get used to it, all it takes is a quick glance and you know your RPM's.

You can also do a micro tach. Its small but easy to read and fits about anywhere. I have had mine for about 3 years and still good.

is there a specific reason why you want an aftermarket tach? I have a 2012 WG, and it does have a digital tach on the speedo. I use it all the time,

Didn't know there was one there.... I still need to check it out.

My next question is....

How do you get it to indicate what gear your in???

gear shows in the same window to the left of the RPMs, wont show until you start moving, just idling you wont see it.
