I had a Burley 1" lowering kit on the rear of my 07 FXD and removed it due to saddle bags that my girl bought me. I want to re-lower the bike using shocks, but I am confused as to what length to get. The book says I have 12" shocks on my bike. I measured them eye to eye and they are 12.75". What length new shocks should I get to get the same stance I had with the lowering blocks?
Any help will be appreciated!!!
Save some money......get the Bikers Choice 11 inch shocks $160....they are Progressive 412s without the bottom cup....they look like the Burly shocks that Progressive makes too.
