New battery
Before I put the 10 FXD away for the winter, I noticed that it would not spin over very fast. Last week I got around to pulling it out. I noticed that the end of the case was bulged out. It would hold a charge but not fully.
Took it to the dealer and the tech put a instrument on it. He was saying he never checked a battery that the reading didn't say to charge the battery and retest.
Just then the lcd screen popped up with "replace battery". With a little paper work he handed me a new battery. That is the first HD battery that I have had that went bad. They a AGM batteries and I keep all my bikes on tenders.
I have never had to have a dealer do anything with my bikes except for a couple recalls over the years. This was the first failure and was still under warranty for a couple months yet.
My Honda batteries would only last 2 to 3 seasons at best and the dealer would laugh if you wanted a replacement for free.
