Merch Oil Cooler/Filter

Thought I'd post here as this might go on my FXD. Picked up a "new" as in never installed Merch Performance Oil Filter/Cooler the other day for my twin cam. Never used one or know someone who has, although Merch has had a good name before they folded. Has any one used/use one? This has a sintered bronze filter element at least it appears to be bronze. Also the housing is finned 360 degrees around.
Just curious if any experiances good or bad?

It's totally up to you but I wouldn't use it.
With a 5 micro nothing beats the stock Harley oil filter.

I have one on a 90 Dresser, I put a 96 in S&S in it about 50,000 miles ago, I have never had a issue with it, engine never gets hot no matter how I'm riding. I would buy another one if I got another bike.
