Switchback Warranty for Vibration
I am looking at buying a used 2012 SB and wonder if the warranty will cover the vibration problem,
I had the dealer do a vin check for re-calls on the bike, and nothing shows.
What do any of you know?
Is it possible that HD is just not admitting there is not a problem?

Go for it. If you have any vibration problem, most resolved by swapping to after market pipe. A few had a motor mount that needed replaced (warranty) and some have had non problem. I love my fld...

HD refuses to acknowledge the problem.
The good news is there's an easy and cheap fix, you don't have to change the exhaust. It's all about the center muffler mount, search for info on the linch pin mod.

Just bought a 2013 SB and have the same vibration issue. Any gear at 3k+ rpm. Good thing is, I'm getting new V&H Pro Pipe put on next week. I'm hoping that solves the issue. Dealer mechanic said this was signature for the SB and that they were all that way and that it was normal...

My 2010 FXDB had a weird vibration at that speed for about 2700 miles. After that smooth as hell when riding.
I don't know what people are expecting from a 96 ci motor between their legs. I mean, sit on a 350 small block's air filter and take a ride. Tell me how it feels.
Even my Virago's had vibrations. My riding lawn mower vibrates, and sometimes to spice things up my wife vibrates. Buy a car if you want luxury. That is my $0.02.
