I too was getting the idea of adding some LED lights. I went with green for some reason the HULK came to mind. I'm just lighting the motor, well havent installed any yet. Do what you want.

I got mine from advance auto, i'm sure pep boys sell em too. Just cheap ones for the rare occasion that i ride at night!!

Check out xkglow.com they have nice kits with remote and however many pods or strips you want. I have them on my crotch rocket and i put some on my dads RKC. The key to them looking good instead of cheesy is to see the glow without seeing the actual lights. Also check YouTube " xkglow led" they have a bunch of videos on harleys. I have the red and only got stopped when riding with them flashing. The cop said they can be on steady but not strobe. That was in Massachusetts.

Well, unfortunately all this appears to be moot, I keep forgetting that in reality i live in one of the most restrictive states in the union. They are illegal to use while driving. and in theory they could be construed as illegal at anytime. The only reason i live here is that most of my family is here. They like to make nice broad laws about everything it seems like, now this too.

IMO i say noooooooooo lights! but if your going to do it, id say a deep or dark purple almost like a black light would look good with a black bike. just saying

I have blue on my bike. Bought it used and it came with them. Either way, they look pretty good on a black bike. Just make sure that you are aware of the legal issues in your city as posted previously.
