Are these for the 2012FXDC? If so don't think they will fit to good. That bottom bracket is not used on mine anyways. The bags look like they were QDs no?

Yes they are the QD one's and are for the my 2012 FXDC. The mounting holes line up on the fender supports just need to move the turn signals. I can take the bottom mount thing off the saddlebags because like you said there isn't anywhere to mount it. I'm just not sure what I can use to mount them if anything. I thought about taking the QD mount off the bags but they are riveted on there. I could probably cut them off. Thinking I may have to re-sell them. I like'em alot. They look good when I hold them next to the bike. Thanks for the reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
get some easy brackets or edge ( i think thats the other company brand) to mount them.
then drill the rivets out, once you get the heads off they will fall out and then use the other brackets to mount the bags to the bike.

Sounds like an idea. Will look those up now.
Was wondering if I got the detachable saddle bag mounts that go behind the fender strut which in turn gives me a mounting point if those will work. Probably not....just thinking out loud.
