I took the bottom support off the bags. Now need to get my turn signals off the fender struts. Trying to find something rather than what H-D sell's to move them.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAIL-LIGHT-P...item45ff7ec3c2 You can install this tail light with built in blinkers and loose the stock stalked blinkers. Replace the fender bolts and add 3/8" all thread, lock in place with a bolt. Remove the quick release stuff and cut the all thread so a washer and acorn nut fits to hold bags on. Use a spacer and acorn nut when not running bags. A search on this forum should provide instructions.
If anyone knows where I could get to of these emblems that would be great also.
Those particular items are obsolete. I had those bags in '06, the "darts had mounting post on them. where-as the "fender darts" are smooth, and are attached with double faced tape.
When I had those bags, the leather bagan to shrink so much so that the "darts" broke. I put concho's in their place, as new ones would no longer fit.
I later had an accident that replaced the bags, and the new "A" part numbered bags no longer had the "darts".
To mount those bags, you'll need to relocate your rear turn signals. JP sells a simulare kit as HD for about 1/2 the price. The QD kit I use is a HD kit that includes longer fender strut and rear shock bolts, spacers, and docking points to attach the bags.
[quote=cbky71;9248858]I bought these off eBay and need help figuring out how to mount these. The part number is 90461-06a. Any ideas. Thanks.

Someone (on Ebay) is B.S.ing you! Those bags are not "A's" the A's do not have the spears on them, and the forward support to the shock mount is bent differently.

I actually have the bags and it appears the tag is factory as it looks like is sewn into the leather. I ended up taking the bottom support off. Interesting info. Thanks!!
