ok so after my first run Im kinda disapointed. they are not loud at all so i went and bought baffles for my pipes. you can hear the speakers at about 45mph but any faster the wind and motor totaly dround them out. I am getting the baffles and the 1/4 fairing so that should help alot. anyone know a place to get a fairing that has all the atachment stuff and is flat black for a good price?

This sounds like when i had a squeek in my cars interior that was annoying. So i went out and bought louder speakers so i didnt hear the squeek. Your exhaust is to loud so in order for you to hear your speakers you are buying things to make your exhaust quieter and a fairing to cut down on the wind. It really is a never ending story with these bikes. I just bought some bars and now i need new grips, risers, cables.......... I tried a few types of speakers on my bike. So far i have found nothing works better than a good pair of ear buds. Keep us posted on your changes.
I had inquired about these at the dealer and he told me not to mess with it unless I had a windscreen. Too much wind noise. I have a quick detach that is on as needed (long ride, cold) but didn't want something on the bars that couldn't be used all the time. Good luck getting it worked out.
Ear buds for me
