Yeah, I would be in for them too.
I am gonna go with a handlebar set up like perryross and want to get rid of the indicators off the bars
HD central needs to pull their finger out and make some accessories for this model
Anyone seen any auxiliary lights
made for the FLD yet?
Went to a "Lighting Clinic" at the HD dealer in Brighton a couple of weeks ago. Lots of nice LED replacement headlights (one does fit the FLD) and replacements for auxiliary lights, turn signals and such. No light bar and auxiliary lights for the FLD yet. I made my desires known (AGAIN.) Sigh.
Numismaddict, Who did you get your engine guards from? I want some but not crazy about the look of having u-bolts around the frame as HD guards do for Dyna.
not sure why so many want the aux lights...should have just bought a RK, one of the reasons i wanted the SB was because it doesn't have the ugly aux lights and big blinkers like the RK...JMHO
guess that dont look too bad with the small blinkers, but i still think it takes the SB down the RK road...but i guess thats why people love HD they can be taken down any path you want to take your build
I don't see it as taking it down the RK road, it's not the only bike to run them. They have been an option on Harley's for a very long time, they're even on the Heritage. They complete the nostalgic look in my opinion. By the way, mine is a Super Glide Custom, not an FLD.
