Perry you are not alone with this. I have been patiently waiting for HD to release them. I was in Myrtle Beach yesterday and the parts guy told me to wait until after the dealer show next month since the MoCo has had a lot of request for it.
It would be nice to see what accessories will be available for the FLDs but besides a detach sissy bar, pad and luggage rack, the first thing I want to put on my bike is me and start putting some miles on it. Come on Spring!!!

If after the Moto Show no new meaningful parts/accessories are released I think we all should start telephoning Customer Service to complain. If Moco wants this new model to be successful it needs to step up with some goodies.
Now folks, to put Jam's post in context you have to remember that he was the reason HD came out with the electric start. Jam is a big ol country boy and he thought that the old kick starting mechanism was performed by holding his foot still and pullin the bike up and down. Funny part was he actually DID start his bike doin it that way. Like I said, Jam's a big ol country boy.
Now most of us would be hard-pressed to lift the front end of a bike up like that, but Jam could. Problem was; he kept pullin the bars right off the risers and his trees had actually stretched damn near 2 inches. As he would go into the dealer, they would all run because he kept makin em give him new bars and risers because they were built too... yep, "frilly."
That's what he called em, frilly.
That's also why he don't like apes either, they break too easy and seem kinda...yep, "frilly."
hehe
