I would like to see some kind of proof that non-Harley parts would be covered by the HD warranty, not happening, unless the dealer specifically puts that in writing, HD is under no obligation to warranty non HD parts even if installed by the dealer. It's a manufacturers warranty..

I love how dealers tell people they'll void there warranties. LIES, it can only void a direct problem related to the mod. ie. burned piston due to lean condition ect.
I hear this crap all the time at my shop. As stated I'd change the oil at 500 and roll. Alot of scare tactics to keep service work in the dealership.

Rich I didn't do that but see the advantage as it's cheap insurance obviously if someone does, you would change with reg. oil @ 500 then use the synthetic @ the 1k right? Or just call the 500, the 1k and go with synthetic then? And while i got you, do you see any advantage in using the hopped up plugs some talk about?

If I was to go syn, yes I would go syn at 1k change after dino oil at 500 change.
As for all the plug types, only good positive things I have seen are from people selling them. I tried some years ago, zero noticeable difference.
