Ignition Upgrade??
Hey guys I have a 2000 fxdwg with about 35k on the clock,with S&S 510g cams,It also has a Thunderheader,the carb has been re-jetted and thunderslide installed to match cams along with an open element K&N filter.I was wondering if it's worth it to upgrade the ignition module??The Daytona Twin tec looks nice,what do you think?Will I see any performance increase over the stock ignition by tweaking the advance a bit with the twin tec?I do plan on moving up to a 97" kit from NRHS at some point,but would swapping out the ignition module give me any seat of the pants power improvement now,or later with 97" kit for that matter?
