Screamin Eagle Wide Glide
Recently purchased a 2004 Wide Glide. Dealer had it advertised as having high performance exhaust (no markings on exhaust to tell me brand, but I think it is Samson Street Sweeper), Stage 1 done, mapped, and a screaming eagle air cleaner cover. What exactly constitutes a bike to be a screamin eagle model? I am curious if the previous owner just stuck a screaming eagle cover on, to fool people, or was there an performance upgrade done.
Screamin' Eagle's have bigger displacement engines than the standard counterparts, custom paint jobs unique to that year and only availible on S/E's, every gaudy piece of chrome in the MOCO "custom" catalog and will have a number of parts such as the heads (as mentioned) stamped with the words Sreamin' Eagle.

A pic would settle a lot of doubts as to if it's a CVO SE Dyna or a stock bike with some Screamin' Eagle parts on it. If that's the case then both of my Dynas just graduated to the SE level.
I think it is just a standard WG with screaming eagle parts. If the air cleaner kit came with screaming eagle cover, I am ok with that. I am one that I do not dress something up to make it look like something it is not. I just didn't know if the previous owner put that cover on as Bullcrap or not. I think with this post, I crossed the threshold needed to post pics. I will do that shortly. Thanks all!
