Switchback Duals
Additionally, he will be working on a full sized hard bag system for it too. Something that looks correct and has a greater capacity.
This guy from MGS sounds serious and quite able, some fabulous builds on his site. Since mrnone is the mod-king of the FLD, I turned him onto MGS for the proto-type build bike. This should be interesting.......

So ... it appears to me that if the mounting bracket 'nut' is cracked (to support the pipes back aft) ... and, the bent shift lever is installed ... that the Softail duals would work on late-model Dynas ....

FBinSoCal ... please pass to MGSCustombikes ... and have them send the R&D and design royalties to me and blueangle73 ...

Man I tell ya, those in the patent and R&D worlds have a tough job. Pour out your creativity, heart and expertise then have someone come along and put their name on a version of your design. My hat's off to you. When multiple people have same basic idea at same time, that has to be the worst pill to swallow of all. I mean who's first? First to patent, first to market, first to reveal idea to others? Like I said, that has to be tough. Great job man.

I am going to check out this MSG site sometime today.
I figured that if this issue of "you cna't put true duels on a Dyna" issue got push enough and the BS flag got pulled someone might decid to pursue correcting it. Looks like we are starting to be seen now.
I might just order that crossover pipe and roll over pipe from V&H and see what the clearences actually look like. Guess I'll have to make room in my shed so I can pull the bike apart to start test fitting.
Also, that design we came up with to mount to the trans, I think some 1/2" - 3/4" round bar bent as required with the trans mount tabs and softail exhaust brackets all welded on would be light enough while not being bulky or annoying looking.
I don't know if this would sell like hotcakes at the pancake house, but I am sure there would be a good number of Dyna riders that would go this way to make it worth the wild of the exhaust builders!

I would like to see a system more like one of these for the Dyna, something without the huge exhaust muffle, something better suited for the Dyna's kick *** approach.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Just another idea, that is all.
