Got the Sundowner for the wife's Bob. She loves it for comfort. Now she doesn't need to stop so often. She can go with me all day now on my Glide. It does sit you higher, but far more comfy. Of course, it does take away from the looks of the Bob so you have to adjust to that part. Highly recommend the Downer!
I've got the two-up Sundowner for my Street Bob. It's very comfortable for both my wife & I, but I hate the look. The bike just looks better with a solo seat. My wife is riding now & we're trying to find her a H/D. Then I'm going to sell the two-up.
I like'd the comfort of the two-up Sundowner so much that I bought a solo Sundowner. That's a totally different seat! It sits you up higher and is fatter in the front. I'm 5'10" & felt like I was stretching a little to put my feet flat on the ground with that seat. I took the bike for a ride with that solo seat on, but was back at my shop taking the seat off after less than 3 miles. It was returned to the dealer for a refund.
I'm still looking for a more comfortable solo seat that gives about the same riding position & look as the stock seat. What's anyone's feedback about the Brawler seat? Any other suggestions?
Got the sundowner put on and its pretty comfy felt a little odd at first, guess because I sit a little higher now. Havent gotten the wife on it yet to see what she thinks though. Still got mixed emotions on the looks of it too.
I'm with Voyager1 and Sammi, the wife had no complaints when we went out for a three hour ride. the only problem I have is that I am 5'6" and the seat width is almost too wide but I got used to it. Very comfy seat.
Can anyone tell me if it's an easy swap from the stock bob solo to the pillion sundowner, and then back again when I want to put my solo back on.....I actually don't mind the stocker solo ( but then I haven't done too many miles on others to compare)....I want to keep the solo but am looking for a compfy pillion to swap on and off when the cook wants to go for a ride.....
Nach, I have a Sundowner that I have used only a couple of times and it's in perfect condition.I will sell it (just don't use it enough), just shoot me an email.
hey guys, first post . . . be nice. just got a 2003 dyna lowrider with a solo corbin. i heard corbins are a little bit on the hard side. any thoughs? the stock 2-up is gonna get its turn for some miles here for a bit.
im guessing the sundowner2-ups do just fine on the lowriders?
mbracey, your sundowner seat you might get rid of is solo or 2-up?
