I’ve not had a chance (salt on the roads)
to really give my upgrades a true test.

Mine is now HP 78.7 with torque 96.7
Stock HP 66.5 with torque 85.9

Hope it was worth it.

Low compression, lean fueling maps, small throttle body, restrictive air cleaner, corked up exhaust, and EPA cams make for a whole lotta room for improvement....

I was told that in order to make my 103 inot a 110, they would have to split the lower cases and bore them out for the larger piston. I don't understand why they don't do that from the factory.
If the MoCo gave everyone a 110 now as standard, they couldn't milk us out of more money in the years to come. You see how they slowly are converting everything from the 96 to 103. In 2013, the 103 will be the standard on all models finally, except the piglets of course. Then they will prolly start slowly trending to the 110 and the process keeps going.

My hope is by 2020, that 120R will be standard. HAHAHAHA

That's where the 103CI gets a little bit more power too. The 96CI has 9.2:1 compression and the 103CI has 9.6:1 compression.

Yes, I read that in the specs. I think 10:25.1 compression ratio allows enough compression to use a set of cams with some duration, while still retaining pump fuel PSI numbers and easy starting.

I would upgrade the Piston Kit just to get a set of forged Wisecos in there.

My wish list for my bike next year is to upgrade the heads to push it above the 100hp mark and if possible (available money), consider higher compression pistons and a larger throttle body. The guys at RayCs in Lapeer have got my bike running so sweet right now that I would hate to mess up what I have right now but I'm hooked on the power and want more. I'll be talking to those guys and getting some advise on which way to go and keep it the way it's running except with more horsepower. I agree with what you said about the compression ratio and I'll keep that in mind if I ever decide to do the upgrades I want. In the mean time, the only thing I want to change on my bike is the odometer reading. Ha!! Let's hope for an early Spring!!!

Why would someone pay money to put a stock bike on a dynonometer?

Did you need me to also ask for the Dyno results after upgrades
for this to make more sense to you?

They did the dyno runs on my bike before and after the mods so I could see the improvements.

I had a (black) heavy breather installed and a 2-1 Nightstick. The bike was put on a dyno to remap the ECM for these two Screamin’ Eagle modifications. There was a 5.88 HP gain; 68.81 to 74.69 and an additional 5.18 FP of torque gained; 87.55 to 92.73 in the dyno ECM mapping. The air to fuel ratio is almost a flat line through the entire RPM range.
