Default Making room for passenger?

I know I just threw some pics up but..

I put the stock passenger pillion back on with detach sissy. I feel its a little cramped with the mustang backrest.

I am wondering if anyone who has a tour pack on the back with back rest thinks there is more room. or maybe some pics that could be posted showing passenger room so I could compare.

I am looking at the ones on ebay (aftermarket) like mutazu or however you spell it.

since you take off the sissy bar to mount them, do they give more room for your passenger. any ideas would be great.

I will try to find the post but I read where someone moved back the pillion about 2" by drilling an extra hole in the sideplates and bolting it back.

Part of the problem is that office chair sized backrest - I doubt she needs one THAT big. Something like this leaves a couple 3-4 inches for the wife to move for and aft.
