Can Passenger Pegs on a '12 FXDWG be repalced with floorboards?
Ya, you may run into the same issues I did. The left side is fine but on the right with long shocks AND a 2into1 that is upswept (not straight back) the, the cross piece the FB's pivot on will hit the pipe........not by much but it will hit. Mind you it only does this with the wheel off the ground but could do so on the road if you ever unloaded the suspension. Your options would be to dent the pipe for clearance, lengthen the bracket so it sticks out farther away from the pipe or put a dog leg in the bracket so it sits higher or put spacers under the bracket where it mounts to the swingarm - if you do this you will need to clearance the fender above the bracket as it is pretty close. I was going to modify this one but the wife rode it with one board and one Kury peg and decided she liked the peg better so now for sale. If I were you I would decide which you want more - footboards or a 2into1. The long shocks are something you should not compromise on, the ride is much better. If you simply MUST have all three then choose something short like that V&H competition series.
