I know but Ive looked everywhere and I want them to match. Ive heard through a friend to look for a 49mm off an 06-07. Im gonna powdercoat them black. Right now my 1 1/4" bars are rubbing my fork caps and i want risers. 2011 has built in risers with clearance only for a 1" bar. I found a set on ebay just wanna know if they are interchangeable
also have some questions regarding turn signals. steps on removing the guys so i can powdercoat the housing... Im sure its not hard, but when i got in there with a screw driver they looked delicate. Cant find replacements and sure they are expensive. And a wiring issue on a 2010 I have just repainted the wiring all checks but the right rear blinker wont work. the running light does just not when u hit blink. and ive checked bulbs and wiring. Need to get into the inside of the housing and check for damage from reinstallation of the fender
$175 for loner industries for the top clamp. I went ahead and purchased the 06 ones off ebay. $100 for both top and bottom used. but im going to powdercoat them anyways for $30 so im not worried about price. hope they work. any tips on the turn signal/brake light stripping? getting them off isnt a problem but the insides are fighting me. theres gotta be a trick to it. I guess I could just ask the guys at the local shop

Sounds to me like it could be a wiring issue ... didn't get the plugs put back together right ... or if you soldered/crimped the wires ... not getting a good connection ...
I did my own wiring to the turn signals ... I have the service manual so just followed the wiring diagram to make sure I had the right wires going to the right place ... one of the Moderators (FXD2003Rider I think is his forum name) has posted up wiring diagrams somewhere on here ... maybe shoot him a PM if you can't find them ....
Then you can trace the colors back and make sure you've got it back together right ... then maybe look at connections once you're sure everything is right as far as wiring ....
I made sure i connected right colors back, they are good... I'll check the connector under the fender for right side again. just seems like there is a short somewhere. I was thinking maybe they got messed up twisting the light back on is why i wanna get in the housing. The service manual isnt very detailed when it comes to teardown.
