Planning on taking some long trips this coming summer (assuming I can get out of work long enough) and I'm gonna go the route of detachable fairing as opposed to windshield. Will be getting some tunes for it eventually too, one thing at a time.
My question is for the street bob or dyna guys that have done this before. Is the Memphis Shades batwing a good route to go? Any other better way to go?
It probably wont stay on the bike year round, only for an hour or longer trip or when its seriously cold. Any experienced voice would be appreciated.
i love my reckless faring with my stereo in it. its a bit expense if you put your own stereo in it but i think it was worth every penny. and they are hand made in the usa. i think he is still out of tennessee, you should check them out.

Their price advertised on the site is $750 for the whole deal. Thats not really a bad deal. Theres definitely not anyone thats cheaper for all that.
They dont show a dyna setup. Which one did you get?
I run the Tsukayu Dyna fairing as well it is the only one on the market for our smaller headlight (I upgraded my speakers to Polk audio marine speakers for better sound though) the stock speakers are ok but at highway speeds alittle weak:

i just bought there plain fairing with no stereo and added my own stuff in there, hence why mine cost me over a grand. i also put a 6" wind vest shield on mine. you have to get the one for a road king and modify the brackets to fit your front forks.
