I love them. I have many thousand miles on them and will not go back to wheel weights.

I think you'll lose some of them when you air up the tire before the beads seat - otherwise why wouldn't that be shown in the instructions

Default Dyna Beads

When I changed from Dunlops to Metzlers with new tubes last summer I installed Dyna Beads....and yep it took easily 15 minutes per tire....and tapping did wear on my patience. However, I think they are the best thing. No weights and what seems to be a perfect smooth balance ever since. I will use them again!!!!

I've been using them for going on 3 years now...probably put them in 30+ friends bikes too (they accuse me of having stock in the company) Best trick I have found is to get a longer (36" works for me) hose and like everyone else said...take your time...if I do get a back up...just squeeze the bottle a few times and they settle right in.

I've been using these for a few years now, just recycle the old ones. +1 on the engraver
trick, only took a couple of minutes to install. Thought there might be some tube wear, so
I replaced the tube w/ the rear tire this year. Cut open the old one, no signs of wear at all.
Word of caution. Always check tire pressure w/ the stem near the top of the rotation, don't ask me how I know.

Default Dyna beads sounds like the way to go

Dyna beads sounds like the way to go but I don't understand why you can't just put in the tire before you inflate instead going through the valve stem.

You certainly can, that is how I have done it. And no, you don't lose any during the process. Just throw 'em in, and air it up.

works fine on mag wheels, with tubes you have to go through the valve stem

I put my beads in with the (compressed air blower) tool I use to blow my bike down after I wash it....the multi-sized stem fits right into the hose that fits over the valve stem...fill the hose up a few inches at a time until you have all the beads in....they shoot right in with the compressed air...after you put in a few inches of beads wait until the air exits, then put more beads in...I found that quicker that the vibration method.
