I have a 2011 Wide Glide, just put V&H Big Radius 2in2 on it with the V&H fuel pak and a k&n filter to let it breathe. My question is this, why does the engine..... , stutter I guess, at high rpm, it also pops on decel on occasion, but not much. When it stutters there is a total lack of power, even at lower gears, but all i have to do is switch it off and back on and problem solved. The first time it stuttered it was in neutral in the drive way, started it for the first time after installation of new pipes, low rev. Second time it was while riding, I kicked down to 3rd to pass a car, no sweat, but as soon as I up shifted again it did it. 3rd time it was in 6th and accelerating, I was trying to re-create the problem. I have noticed that the stutter has definately moved back in gears. the first time it was at low revs, second time, middling, third time high revs. there was a fourth, just now, i was revving it in the driveway, it wasn't till i had sustained high revs for a few seconds that it repeated.
Fuelpaks are odd beasts. The O2 sensors stay in operation and so tend to try to undo the changes that the Fuelpak makes. This can lead to the bike being lean in closed-loop (low/mid throttle and low/mid revs) but quite rich in open-loop. No wonder if the poor ECU gets confused.
Compared to PCV, SEPST, TTS, etc Fuelpaks aren't terribly good. One thing that might help though if you don't want to swap it out is to fit some Xieds as well as the Fuelpak to richen up the closed-loop area.

I was just going to suggest the same thing, except for keeping the Fuelpak. XIEDs, no Fuelpak. 1.) because the Xieds should take care of the fuel ratio problem on their own, and 2.) because the Fuelpak has caused a lot of people a lot of headaches. And, since you just put on a new set of pipes, you really need to check them to ensure you don't have an exhaust leak, which will cause decel popping.
are you running the correct map for the fuelpak? i just put on a fuelpak with my thunderheader and it runs great! it does pop on decel but thats normal when you add higher flowing exhaust with a better breathing air cleaner. my bike actually ran good with the thunderheader without the fuelpak, but runs much better with it with alot less popping on decel. but make sure your runnin the right map and maybe input the values again to see if it fixes the problem.

You need to adjust your Fuelpak. Provided you don't have any exhaust leaks, your decel popping is from a too lean condition.
I'm using the custom map for the fuel pak provided by V&H. It's not surprising to me that the fuel pak is the source of the problem, I suspected it. I'm certain of the exhaust, no leaks for sure. XiED with or without the fuel pak though? I can return the fuel pak and get my $235 back. Do the XiEDs remove the need for a re-map? I wanted to avoid my local dealership as far as remapping because they wanted to charge me $150 for the download plus another $75 to install it, their exact wording. I don't want to have to go pay $225 every time i change out or upgrade my bike.
my dads bike is professionally dyno tuned, it still pops, my buddies dyna is professionally dyno tuned, it still pops, my uncles bike is professionally dyno tuned, it still pops. sure mine pops more then theirs, but its going to happen when you change stuff like that out. my old ironhead popped to with the cycle shacks and mikuni carb and i had that tuned perfectly.
