So my only question is, how far did you take the tear down? Did you just drop the wheel and mask everything off or did you completely disassemble the front end? I'm thinking if I tackle this project it would be a good time to scrap those ugly black rubber dust caps for some chrome ones.

Check out the how to for it, you basically remove the wheel/fender and mask/cover everything up:

Looks great! I began the same project last weekend, however I was a bit heavy handed and got a couple drips. This stuff tacks up thick! Lesson learned, I'm sanding this weekend and trying again. I liked how clean it looked regardless of the drips that I pulled my trees off and going to spray them up, too. Amazing what a 6 dollar rattle can will do.

I didnt tear it down just removed tire and fender taped and covered the **** out of it,this spray on stripper is ugly.If I were to do it again I might remove the tubes but there is always a chance of scrathing them on re-assmembly.
