Lol yes and no
06 has inner bearing problem, tc88 has tensioner and cam bearing problem, I used to own a tc88 fatboy so I know. I like 07-08 for 2 reasons, the rear fender and tail light, I can't stand for the limp dick tail light sorry. Other that than, any SB is cool.
Hydralic tensioners introduced on Dyna's in 06. The remainder of the big twins in 06 had the tensioner and cam bearing set up prone to problems.

Alright. Thanks for clarifying. I agree with you on the tail light. I was thinking of putting a tombstone led on but honestly the bike doesn't need much as far as customizing. I changed the pegs, grips, levers, all the covers and gas cap to the Willie G skulls but the style and looks just really make the bike special in my eyes. Sure many were built but I feel an attachment to mine. One of Harleys greatest moves building the street bob.
The only comfort mods I've done are a mustang seat(highly recommend) and a 4" riser. The riser and seat eliminated my back pain and I am back more in the saddle which makes the highway pegs perfect.
Great bike.
heres a review about the 2012 streetbob. its nothing new, i know, but the video provides a good deal of "motorcycle ****". the article that goes with it does some comparision between the street bob and the vic highball. http://www.motorcycle.com/manufactur...deo-91206.html
