I just got me a set of the H-D heel rest mounts and flame heel rests. I am really surprised at how relaxed they let you legs feel. I should have got these long ago.

nice!! after taking out a rental (wide glide), I knew I would need them.

I do scrap them on occasion... making a sharp turn out of a steep driveway will get you every time, so be forwarned

its a bit of a surprise the first time, no? I have a lot of curvy roads around where I live, and of course the banks are going the wrong way - those will get you too, sometimes. I really only have to be careful coming out of parking lots with steep driveways. Otherwise you really need to get a good lean going to hit them.
