i have been running 1/4 fairings since the 80s , if you would have called them mad max wanna be fairings you would have been dead on with me . i did not even know what soa was till about 6 months ago and i think they are trying to copy the ha bikes . i will post how an emgo fairing looks as soon as i can get my interweb fixed tomorrow , until then to show my chrome testies heres a bike i built a long time ago

I like the looks of these but do they cut the wind alot or some...seems like it would hit you right in the helmet?

I rode in 20-30+ degree weather all Winter, I could not have done that without the deflection from my fairing/windshield.

I can also smoke a cigar behind it- pretty functional if you ask me!

thanks. thats kinda what i'm after...nj is so variable with the cold/hot thing ...i assume ya gotta make a bracket for it

Not for the fairing..the only thing I changed is I mounted it to turn signal relocation clamps on the forks because the instructions said to mount it to the pinch bolts of the triple tree. I don't like using structural components for mounting things.
