Cool, I was just reading this entire post and glad you posted that man. I have had the worst luck with stuff fitting this bike. Ask Bob. He knows. I'm a member of your site bro. I'm checking it now because I was looking for a bag for the windshield.
Bob,
unfortunately the guys at HD and the dealerships dont know themselves
they told me the 3 pocket road king pouch wouldnt work on my switchback.
when i found a couple of windshield companies making windshields with the
same part number listed for both road king and switchback i decided to take
the chance and as you know it fits perfectly.
as i said in another thread, HD should have a spot in each assembly plant
where they can put one of each bike just to try parts fitment, im sure there
are many others factory HD that will interchange.
on the switchback/fld only site i created a few weeks ago i made a interchange
category that i have begun to collect info for.
Bob,
sent, also bounce it off of Mrnone if you can, would like his input
on the mods he made over there especially since the site is switchback specific.

Will do, I put a call into him a couple of days ago and I'll let him know when he checks in. Thanks man
Here's the pic of mrnones road king tour pack on my bike, set up for quick release. I can't remember what thread the request came from, but here ya go:

Well I can confirm that the Front Fender Tip (59019-05) and the Trim Kit (59209-91T) off a Softail Delux definitely does work exactly as I have fitted it.
Hey, RAR,
Does this just "stick" on or is some amount of fender (gasp) drilling required?
While we are on the subject of drilling and sticking stuff to the bikes....
(Easy Bob) anyone figure a way to mount a flag on the bike? Besides using a sissy bar. I was going to go to the hardware store and try to fabricate something for the license plate. All the mounts are expensive and don't have anywhere to mount on the switchback. I don't want no plastic crap either. This sucker has to be tough.

Thanks guys
There's a patriot guard riders thread on here, hit those guys up for best mounts, etc. I don't run a flag on my bike, too concerned it will fly off.
