I've had my chrome HD flush mounts since September 09 as well. No LED problems.
But the rings are chrome plated plastic. I spilled some gas on the feul cam outer ring and the chrome peeled of from the plastic. I ordered a replacement ring. It was about $12.00 Havent installed it yet. I will do that this spring. And, I'll be more careful when filling up.
Just to verify, the part I want is 75327-09B, right? Im guessing "B" is the improved version. Says it fits all 09 and later Dynas except the FXD. FXD is a Street Glide?
I've been looking into these and it's good to hear that most ppl here don't have a problem with them. I figure gloss black flush mount caps will give a good contrast to the black denim paint.
I got the black ones last year in'11 no problems except, the gas cap isn't 100% flush with the tank, that is my only complaint. Now it isn't that noticeable ,just I would have liked it perfect.
Thats my only complaint with the black flush mounts too. The gas cap is close but not perfectly flush like the gauge side. However, it looks tons better than any other option out there.
well my black flush mounts should be here on monday and ill post some pics in my winter mods round 2 thread.
I ordered 75327-09b from lake shore harley hopefully these wont have any issues...
Oh that'd be cool, really appreciate the heads up on that, there shouldn't be a problem,I seem to remember asking someone on another forum and he put them on his 08 Street Bob
