Brake lines
Hey guys, looking into putting some stainless lines on the dyna. Really like the look of the Goodridge Ebony series brake lines. Wanted some opinions on other options. Is there anything I need to worry about with these lines because they are not DOT approved??? Thanks in advance!!!

Insurance claims in the event of an accident or something. The adjustor will spot those non-DOT lines and deny the claim.
Heard a story somewhere (here or another forum) about a non-DOT brake light mod on a lifted truck that resulted in the entire claim being denied after he got rear ended (it was a total loss to boot). The accident wasn't his fault either.

So other than insurance... nothing to worry about. Awesome. Only reason I ask is because if they are approved for the track then I don't see why they wouldn't be ok for me who is not going to be putting nearly the same stress on my braking system. Thanks a lot

Yeah, you'll find that stuff labeled for "off-road" or "track use only" generally performs as well if not better than DOT equipment. It's just another silly regulation. They don't like it when people change things, so they try and make rules against it.
