Need plug for tach
Howdy folks,
Got the matching tach for my '09 Dyna FXD speedo, got the bracket to mount it and then found that I need the plug that goes into the back of the tach. Apparently HD sells a wiring loom that has tach and speedo plug, but it's a $200.00 piece of wire.
If I can get a pig tail with the right plug, I can splice them over. Anybody know where I could get one. I'll try the Dealer in the am.

Not sure if it will be of any help for you but gonna try it anyway...
Here's an image of the back of an FXDL tach.
This tach accepts a 6-way connector (A) in the back (B).
Parts used:
- connector, 6-way - tachometer p/n is 72451-00
- 3 terminals 18-22 ga. -tachometer p/n 72452-00

Color codes used:
(signal wire) pink runs via pin 7 at main harness to pin 12 at ignition module
(power wire) orange splices to power from instruments fuse
black is ground
