yeah I've done that... I'm hoping someone on here has done internal wiring on some gimp hangers and has some pics or reviews of them.Or people that have some other cool apes that they've found out there.
I'm not real big on the z apes... but I might give those a second thought if someone has a link to some really cool ones. I am going for a semi-old school look.
these are alright too... but leaning towards the gimps.
Ive got the 16 inch gimps and i love them, they look great on the street bob. They are also the perfect width for the front end, i personally dont like it when the apes are alot wider than the front forks. I did my wiring internally and it was actually pretty straight forward, just give yourself time.
I actually like those bars too. damn the price though...ouch. looks like they are thicker than the gimp hangers. that's probably the only reason I'm waffling... the gimps look a little skinny.
Ooops, i seen there ad in an american iron mag, they have a pic of these bars they call them fly in apes and they look real good. I posted the web site then went to it and i couldnt actually find those bars on there site. Anyways check the mag out they are nice. In pics the gimps look a little skinny but on the bike in person they look awsome, i couldnt be happier. If you get them and need some help let me know.
