Wheel corrosion
I'm putting some new tires on a 2001 FXDXT that I just purchased. The wheels have some small spots of corrosion and I figure there's no better time to clean them than when the tires are off. Are the wheels bare aluminum or is there some sort of a coating? Can I just go at it with some aluminum polish and sealer/wax?

Not sure about your wheels but my 07 has the factory mag wheels and I used a Mothers Power Cone with Mothers Mag and Aluminium Wheel Polish. Wheels vame out really nice and the Power Cone on a cordless drill really made quick work of it.
