Anyone have or ever used one of these? I have a fat bob and was wondering if this would be a good jack to get, or should I just buy a sears jack and modify it? Opinions please.
My buddy bought one. I personallt think its a peice of **** and an absolute pain in the *** to use for a motorcyle. I have the Harbor freight yellow aluminum low profile bike lift $179 and it is the best lift they have and awesome for use on dynas. As far as hieght, at full lift rear tire is 20" off ground and very stable. My only complaint with the lift is that it only locks in full lift position w a cross bar. It twist locks to hold at any height but I like the security of the through pin when Im gonna run somewhere while pig is on lift you know
I bought one and used it on my Kawasaki. When I let it down, it dropped almost 6" at first crack and slammed the bike againt the upright. Tank replacement was over $500. I decided not to try it on my UL. Sold it and getting a table.
one thing on the craftsman, get the red version or the silver version for your dyna, not the yellow listed above, you can do the dyna mod easily to the red or silver, but can not to the yellow from what i understand.
the red one has a lot of bad reviews on craftsmans website, but i have had mine ( silver in color, but suppsosedly the same) for 7 years now with out an issue. I just picked up the lift table to be able to work on bikes at waist height. It also works really well for loading heavy stuff into the pickup truck.
I've been looking t the H.F. lift table. can't find it for under $469. on sale. I've got a Black Widow bike jack, paid $125. for it, Works great on my softail. Except now that I've lowered the rear, I have to hold her upright to slide the jack under.
