Noticed on my WG that the kick stand doesn't have a bumper on the frame. I called Harley and they said they couldn't find one in the parts breakdown. I ended up making one out of a rubber stopper from Lowes and a hose clamp. Does anyone know if there is a Harley part for this application? Here's the one I made. Can't really see it without looking under the primary, and it actually makes the kickstand easier to put down cause it's sticking out far enough now to get your boot on.
Its right in front of the one you added - looks like it may be positioned wrong though, run your hand under there and you should feel the bumper that the stand should rest on.

That's it for sure...just need to roll it over into position...(That's what SHE said!!!) lol
ps: nice job on the homemade unit however, I wouldn't like having that hose clamp on the bare frame, over time, that hose clamp will scratch the hell out of your frame.

+1 on the hose clamp on frame, put a couple wraps of E tape on your frame then clamp your bumper on. I think it looks good, and if it holds it out a bit further then the stock one, that may be nice.

Crap on a cracker. I didn't even notice it cause it was rotated around. Thanks!!
