Default 49mm fork seals

Any suggestions on fork seals? My stealer said the MOCO only offers the complete rebuild kit and all I need are the seals.

Your dealers just being lazy. Look up the part numbers using the Ronnie's HD micro fiche and give them part numbers to order to call Cycle Parts for less.com and order them on line. Seals are available individually, I just bought them in August for my dyna. Don't forget you will need the copper crush washer / seals that go under the bolts at the bottom of the leg.

I have purchased these before. They sell kits or just the seals. http://store.jamesgaskets.com/produc...roducts_id=852

I used the drag specialities cheap Chinese "kit" recently, and they have leaked from the start. I do not recommend them.

I actually just ordered the "James" brand seals last night.

I'm sure they're available from other manufacturers, but even the micro-fiche shows one part # for the seals and includes all the rebuild parts. Thanks for the info guys.

I bought just the seals from my dealer this winter too. $13 each or something (Canadian).

Gotta second the vote to check another dealer. Parted out just the seals when I swapped the lower legs on my FXDC last fall.

Not sure how your looking it up but here is the part number I just up off one of the parts fiches I use: 46514-01 seals are 7.99 each Looked them up under front forks for my 06 street bob which has a 49 mm front end on it. Buy the seals mail order from Ronnie's HD if your local guy won't work with you to get you the parts you need!
