rode a victory judge today...compared to my Fat Bob
Dyna Glide ModelsSuper Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide.
Before I bought my Fat Bob I considered the Victory High Ball and Vegas Eight Ball. I just couldn't get over the look and feel of the Victory's. They do remind me allot of the Jap bikes the way they feel and the look of the OHC engine. I guess I just felt like if I got the Victory I would regret the decision later. I knew for sure that I would never regret buying the Harley-Davidson. I think I could and maybe someday will own a Victory but only as a second bike next to my Harley.
I was in a Victory dealership over the weekend (picking up Redline Oil), and nothing even tempted me to test ride. The Judge has only a 140mm rear tire.....no thanks
Thanks for the review
Long before I ever owned Harley's or thought of Harley's I hated the Vic's, they just look off, like they want to be Harley but just can't get it right, and then miss the boat on the looks of the Jap cruiser market too, I'm sorry but there just isn't anything to like about them IMO.
I looked at many bikes but they just couldn't do for me. I have wanted a Harley since I was old enough to pronounce the name. I knew that if I "settled", I would never be happy. For those that like other bikes, more power to them......just not for this guy....
To me its just a Ford vs Chevy deal. As far as I am concerned, as long as its a powerful air cooled V-Twin, made in the USA, then its still better than a Honda..... Lol

This. While I prefer HD, I'm glad that there is another American made bike company out there. More power to 'em.
I'm not saying that Harley styling is always perfect...there are things I don't like about some Harley's too. But in my opinion, the Victory bikes look horrible.

The Victory bikes are ugly. And the Arlen Ness versions of the Victory's are hideous. However, it would be nice if Dynas, which cost more than comparable Victorys, would come with the same 100hp and 100 ft/lbs of torque that the stock Victory engines comes with. The stock Dyna engine doesn't even come close. I have not ridden a Victory - but I have ridden with Victory owners and their bikes have no problem blowing my stage 1, 2007 FXDC off the road at any speed.
