Holy crap, your bikes going to sit for a whole week? Lol

In one week your battery will be fine. Having a battery maintainer is a good idea. If you decide to buy a maintainer get one that specifies its also designed for the AGM batteries that newer HD's come with. All batteries are not equal, there are different charging requirements for different types of batteries

Default Battery Tenders

My bike battery will be 6 years old in June. It's been on a tender for the last 4 years when parked. Still starts like a champ when on the road.

bikes an '08, OEM battery, I plug it into the tender anytime the bike is in the garage whether it's for an hour or months.

I ride 2 bikes....I basically alternate between a 02 Deuce and a 95 Goldwing....Both have the battery tender pig installed. Which ever one I am not riding is on the battery tender....It will make your battery last almost forever...If you have one bike...just plug you bike in every night like you do your cell phone and never worry about a weak battery again.

Battery tenders are good for everything in the garage 12 volt, use them when anything is parked more then a day and extend the life. I use the Battery Tender Jr. Cars, tractor, atv, bike etc...
