06 $treet Bob help
While riding home after purchasing my 06 street bob from a dealer. The bike started to bog down. I called the dealer who sold me the bike and he advised putting new plugs in... Done, that didn't help. He recommended a mechanic who said it was the 02 senors and stated that a power commandor would do the trick... Nope, didn't work. To make a very long story short, here is what he said he checked. The engine via bore scope, fuel injectors, put on a power commandor,replaced spark plugs, replaced fuel line. He told me he has no idea why it's bogging down. Please help! BTW, the local Harley dealer is booked out until mid April... I know I bought a Lemon, but GA doesn't have a lemon law for motorcycles.

07bobber.. thanks for the info. I'll check with the mechanic to see if he did what you mentioned. It never shut off on me, but bogged down enough that I thoght it would. BTW, it is efi, I wish it had a Carb.

How many miles? Could be the fuel Pump inside the tank is starting to go bad. The injectors could also be gummed up, add some fuel injector cleaner to the next full tank of gas and get some Octane Booster.

sea foam works great for cleaning injectors. I use it after every winter and it works great. Its probably not a complete solution to your problem but it will help with keeping the injectors clean.
