Default custom exhaust conerns

I am dropping my bike off today to have a custom exhaust built. My question is what should I keep an eye on. My motor is completely stock. Just got the bike. (07 fxd) I am having them powdercoat the tips but the rest will be wrapped with the DEI titanium exhaust wrap. The shop is called Rottweiler bikes here in Bremerton, Wa. Any ad ice would be greatly appreciated. This is my first Harley everythinv else up to this point has been metric so my main concerns lie in the ability of the computer to adjust and longevity of ghe wrapped pipes. Thanks Phill

The longevity wont be very good if its wrapped, i wrapped over my heat shields to leave a little breathing room...if it lasts awhile good, if it fails over a good period of time ill probably be ready for a different system anyway....

depends on what they are going to do...what kind of pipe? make sure it has 02 bungs, make sure you can get to your oil filler cap, watch to ensure the passanger will hve room if the pipes go back, and that your foot will not be burned going to the controls

JRK and bobber thanks for the input. I shouldve been more specific. I realize wrapped isnt going to last as long but as long as it will last two-three years Im happy. Propa to both of you, your bikes look damn good. So I shouldnt need a tuner yet right? Even if i upgrade the AC it should be good until cams go in it? They are gonna mock it ip first and make sire i like the sound and placement before the do the finish so I'll be able to check fit up.

100% get a tuner... i will not install pipes and intake in the shop without a tuner due to liability issues on the motor... you will read 1000000 things that say you dont need it or you do... both of the guys i hang out with that have build countless motors (mine included) the guy that does all our head work, and the guy that does all our tuning says as soon as you go intake and pipe run a tuner... so i do that... cams you dyno
