I'm interested in this. I also have the Sundowner, and though it's comfortable, it's friggin ugly! I just can't stand the way it looks :P
I like the retro looking pillow seat. The Extra Wide Regal Duke seat looks sharp too. I wish there was a way to test fit the seats on my bike before buying one. It's impossible to know what a seat will feel like or look like on my ride.
I have had the pillow look seat on my '06 superglide. It was very comfortable and I really liked the look. However, it pushed me forward about an inch or two. I'm 6'1" and needed the extra leg room even with my forward controls. If this isn't a problem for you, go for it, you won't be dissapointed. The $249 price tag is a lot better than many aftermarket seats.
Mine is now just sitting in the garage. If anyone wants it, I would take $150 shipped (it's in perfect shape and doing me no good).
here is a picture of it on scoot before I changed back to the stock seat.
By the way, it is really comfortable for your passenger too.
I've had the Mustang Regal Duke on mine for four years and over 120K miles. Very comfortable with lower back support.
Nice. How does it sit compared to other seats? I'd rather it move me back a bit as opposed to moving me up. I'm 6'4", and losing an inch on the Harley pillow seat wouldn't work for me.

I'm 6'4 also (36" inseam), with the 3" extensions on the forward controls the bike fits me perfectly.
Not sure how it compares to the stock seat, I've had this one on since the bike was new.

I ordered mine with the pillow look seat. So far I am very pleased. Wife says it is comfortable for her too. Point to consider, we only have about 200 miles on the bike so far.
Had it on my bike but OL said it was too small for her, so went with the sundowner and she's happy with that one. Told her if she didn't like it, I would need a e-glide.
