I am getting the Straightshots. They are a 2 into 2 but I like the look better.
The dealer gave me 20% on parts so I figure I got a pretty good price. $340 for the full system...
yeah once all the mods are done I'll be getting 'er tuned...

I'm in the same boat. I like the V&H straight shot slip on's because they're real long. The Straightshots full system has shorter pipes which I don't like as much, but I do like the clean, one piece look. I'm conflicted.
Now, what about the install?
I hear guys talking about what a PITA it is and was hoping to get some pointers.
What parts should I replace? I have read to replace the gaskets (but don't get the SE ones, stay with stock), the circlip, the flanges and the nuts.
I want this to be done right the first time.
Know of any good install threads or videos?
Any help would rock!
Thanks...
Here are a few install videos. Not on Harleys but the concept is exactly the same. I've put on a few exhausts and the hardest part to me is removing the old gaskets, and even that is not hard just a bit annoying. The old gaskets really get crushed down into the port, and they are made of a metalic material that really blends in with the metal around it. Use a small flathead screwdriver to pry them out. All in all...it is pretty damn easy bro...don't pay to have it done trust me. The only thing you really need is an extra set of hands to help you support the new pipes while you are getting all the bolts lined up. The V&H systems come with very good instructions BTW.
