Congrats!!! Paid mine off two month ago. Sure feels good, don't it? Just enjoy riding and stay away from the dealer or you'll be right back into payments again!!!!
Congrats! I have a couple more months and I'll be free of a payment too.
I love my bike so much I ain't worried about buying another... I may have just jinxed myself.
Yes sir...especially with my crappy credit. I am so glad to be done I don't know what to do.
Congrats, Dan.
I'm right there with you on the interest rate. I, too, wasn't as smart as I should have been in my younger days and The Moco is making me pay. I'm working on refi with an outside source. Would love to cut my payment by $100 or more. (Paying $350/mth currently)
Cash mmoney after saving for 4 years walked in went through Harley credit and paid it off in three months. I did the math on the total savings on the interest was like five grand. Harley got there money anyway with all the MODs so you will never win lol.
Good job! HD Credit is a rip off. You should try USAA next time. Their rates were half of what HD rates were when I purchased in 2010.
The reason HD charges that much is because they can. They will finance most credit situations and once they got you sitting in the dealer's office.... they got you HOOK, LINE, AND SINKER!!!!
They know that once they can get you off the showroom floor, your mouth is probably salivating at this point and dying to get out and RIDE and are now in the perfect position to sign just about anything. You better check the fine print, you may have given up your first born child.
Luckily, if you by a Dyna or less, your payments will not be too crazy because they are priced less than an econobox car. However, I feel sorry for the sucker that uses HD Credit to fully finance a CVO Bagger! DAMN!!!
