I know all about the girls liking sparkly things! I really like the orange - probably a love it or hate it type of opinion thing! The sundowner and the sissy should be here the first of the week - the little woman will be apply then.
BG1- I need a new seat, but am tossing around the HD touring or the HD sundowner..... if you could get a good pic of the before and after from a good angle I want to see all this talk about the sundowner sitting you up higher and closer. the touring is 50$ cheaper, but I have yet to understand the difference...... thats a different thread.
sweet man....congrats. Good looking scoot. How are you likeing the additional power?
to be honest... I am effin impressed. I got over the drool factor that the WG rake gave me, but could not hold onto the XL any longer after I got my heart set on the Dyna. I am very happy, thanks for asking.
Welcome to the Jungle. I went from a XL1200C to FXDC. Love it.
yeah, my buds on the sporty side are stating that dyna is a change, not an upgrade. I will always have a sweet spot for those XLC's, but not as sweet as the excitement I have right now.
Cool stuff bro.
btw, many of us have built sporting Dyna's, with mid controls and balanced power.
There are some awesome German mods.
This is one I did for Bing, she's a monster and corners as good or better than any Sporty: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8703822@N05/3737561754/

As soon as I get it I will take some pics for you! I had the Sundowner on the 1200C and it was great, especially for my wife.
I love the look of the sportsters but you cant beat the 6th speed at 80 mph and the fact that you can ride the dyna all day long. I have had several sportsters over the years and IMO the dynas are just better bikes.
Even my brother who has one of the nicest sportsters I've ever seen likes the street bob. Enjoy the ride welcome to the dyna side. Anyone who says dynas aren't an upgrade from a spprtster is crazy.
