2012 Street bob speedometer message
This has only happend a few times but sometimes it will turn over when i go to start it and the engine will stop turning over then start back up and fire and when it does this it will say what i think is "inertia" then something on the back of it when it happens, Did a search and couldnt find anything similer to it on here. It only happens if i have ridden for awhile then park it to go in then come back out a couple minutes later.

You can read the codes with your speedometer. Go to the best of dyna sticky at the top of the page and scroll down to "how to check diagnostic codes."

No tuner just vance and hines straight shot slipons. I checked for codes and on everything it said none then two numbers came up one was

This only happens after you have ridden it like its hard to start like its vapor locked.

it started happening to me after i put the thunderheader on. it almost seems like its the 2012 bikes. a proper tune might get rid of it. i plan on switching to a tts once they release it and hopefully with a good tune it wont happen anymore.

hey mike are you running the thunder header with no download or tune or anything? If so does it seem to run okay like that. Just wondering, my slip ons pop alot on decel anything over 2000rpm's i'm going to modify my baffles to try to get some more backpressure if that dont work saving up for screamin eagle super tuner.

you know, I was just wondering the same thing yesterday, except my bike does it when I haven't ridden in a few days. I thought it was the battery being weak? but I check and my battery is fully charged. I don't ever get a good look at the word but it looks like it stars with a V then something and then disappears and resets my speedo back to the clock (I usually have it on the Gear/RPM selection). Also a 2012 street bob with straight shot slipons. no codes.

im running a fuelpak. its does enough for it for now. V&H sent me a map for the dyna 103 motor i believe. they actually emailed me back today with a map for a 96 motor. so if i have time im gonna try the new map and see how it runs.
TMO: i get the same thing when it happens. ive never really thought much of it since it still starts up.
