I put them on my '06 SG and they're great! They lowered the bike an inch, but I didn't really notice a big difference sitting on it. I think that I noticed the most difference when I looked at it. They look better than the stock shocks and as for the ride/handlingthey are about the same as stock.
11" Progressive 412 Heavy-duty. Got at Jireh cycles for under 200 bucks shipped to my door! They come from the factory pre-set in the middle adjustment. I ride solo only....have never bottomed out. @ 230 lbs, I have 7/8 inch fender clearance sitting on bike! 1 5/8" clearance when not on bike! Makes the bike sit more upright on jiffy stand, proably a good idea to get the shorter jiffy/kick stand from the moco or aftermarket.
ORIGINAL: misfitThats a good look you have going there.I was thinking about doing the same mod down the road.

Stock shock is 12.6 inches. The H/D lowering shocks are 11.6 inches (this is a factory Lowrodier shock). The lowest you can get away with is 11 inches, for a 1.6 inch drop. That's what I have.

Had my FXDWGI shockslowered 1.5" by Dan the Skullman (a vendor on this site). Top quality work and alot cheaper than a new set of shocks!
I also swapped the bobtail fender for a standard radius fender and a badlander solo seat. Looks great, rides great, sits great, handles great.
