I have a 2010 street bob. I will try and get you some pics and info later tonight or tomorrow so you can see what I am talking about.

Try a WG pillion. Works great with only a little modification needed.

And instead of removing the screw threads everytime and putting a filler cap I got this screw with a .45 casing top that I just leave in there.

+1 Everytime I change mine out I think about doing this.. thought I was the first!

true... i got around this by putting the bumpers on the seats instead of the fender
