From the research i have done, the Hub from a wideglide is the same width as the heritage wheel, low rider hub is narrower since it uses the midglide or narrowglide front end, my dealer tells me about something called wheel offset, where the rim is offset from the hub, not sure about this one.then there is the wheel spacers and caliper alignment, these are the things i need to figure out

Really? and all this time I thought the Low Rider and the Wide Glide wheels were the same except the black on the Low Rider. That's good info. Thanks. I'm gonna have to keep an eye on how this works out for you. It might help me get some mags back on my Low Rider.

Your bike in the sig pic, is what i am trying to do without the fatboy forks but with wideglide forks, i have the rear fender you have, just need to install this weekend, as for the wheel i should receive it this weekend and plan on doing the mock up and see how things line up. You did a real nice job on your bike.

ahhh, ok, I'm starting to see what you're doing with your bike. I think that will look good when you get it done. I'm curious though why you don't just get a laced wheel made for a Wide Glide. Don't they look about the same, or are you going for the fat tire look?

Thanks for the compliment
I like your bike too. What rear fender are you using? And what floorboards? I am ordering Switchback floorboard parts, probably early next week. I had intended to use a Switchback rear fender, but may use an old Panhead fender. Please post more pics of your bike.

The floorboards are Vtwin half moon PN 27-1670, about $115 shipped on ebay. Had to take them off for the lower fairings though and put the mini boards back on until the weather warms up.
Robtarra39, I would go out to the garage and get some measurments of axle spacers for you but work has me in PA this week, won't be back until friday evening. Can get some info for you then.
Today i mocked up the Heritage front wheel.with stock wideglide spacers everything bolted up but the wheel was off 1/2 inch towards the brake side, to center the wheel, i will need a 5/8 spacers and a 1 1/4 spacer for the brake side and 1/4 spacers for the brake caliper, doing this will center the wheel. And axle size is 3/4
Anyone here capable of making these spacers, i can paypal for these but would like ASAP
PM me a phone number and I can walk you through a quick, easy, fast fix.
Just put a custom front end on my bike using a 2000 Heritage front end and retained my stock switchblade wheels. Different application, but same concept. Had to space the wheel and caliper, and did both without machining anything.
